1. Services
a1.2 Advertising packages, their features, and pricing are as published on our website from time to time and may be updated for future billing periods with reasonable notice.
1.3 We reserve the right to determine screen layout, rotation frequency, and display scheduling to ensure fair and effective rotation across all clients.
2. Contract Term & Renewal
2.1 Advertising packages are sold as monthly rolling subscriptions. There is no fixed minimum term — your subscription automatically renews each month until cancelled by either party.
2.2 Your subscription begins on the date your first payment is successfully processed, and artwork is accepted (see Section 4).
3. Payment
3.1 Payments are collected via Stripe on a recurring monthly basis, in advance of each billing period.
3.2 Prices are shown in GBP. We are not currently VAT-registered, so no VAT is added to prices. This will be updated on our website if that changes.
3.3 If a payment fails, we will attempt to notify you and may suspend your advert's display until payment is resolved. Continued failure to pay may result in cancellation of your subscription under Section 5.
3.4 We may change package pricing with at least 30 days' notice before it takes effect on your next billing cycle. Continuing your subscription after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.
4. Artwork & Content
4.1 After checkout, you must supply your advert artwork in a format and specification we provide.
4.2 We will review and, where necessary, optimise your artwork for correct display on our screens. We may request revised artwork if it does not meet technical or content standards.
4.3 We reserve the right to refuse or remove any artwork that is unlawful, offensive, misleading, infringes third-party rights, or is otherwise unsuitable for display in a public community venue, at our reasonable discretion.
4.4 You warrant that you own or have the right to use all content submitted, and that it does not infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights. You agree to indemnify us against any claims arising from your artwork.
4.5 Display of your advert typically begins within [X] business days of artwork approval.
5. Cancellation
5.1 You may cancel your subscription at any time by giving us at least 30 days' written notice (email to info@pixeltin.com is sufficient) before your next billing/renewal date.
5.2 If notice is given with less than 30 days remaining before the next billing date, one further payment will be collected and your advert will continue to display until the end of that final paid period.
5.3 We may cancel or suspend a subscription with 30 days' notice, or immediately in cases of non-payment, breach of these Terms, or if we cease to operate a screen at a given venue.
5.4 No partial-month refunds are given for cancellation part-way through a paid billing period — your advert continues to run for the remainder of that period.
6. Refunds
6.1 As services are provided on a rolling monthly basis and delivered progressively throughout each period, payments already collected for a current billing period are non-refundable once your advert has gone live, except as set out below.
6.2 If we are unable to display your advert at all during a paid period due to our fault (e.g. technical failure on our part), we will provide a pro-rata credit or refund for the affected time.
6.3 This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 where applicable.
7. Screen Availability & Liability
7.1 We aim for maximum screen uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted display. Screens may be temporarily unavailable due to venue closures, technical faults, maintenance, or events outside our control.
7.2 We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss (including loss of business or profits) arising from your use of our services.
7.3 Our total liability to you in respect of any claim arising from these Terms is limited to the total fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.
7.4 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
8. Venue Access
We do not guarantee access to or control over the venue itself. Screen placement, opening hours, and venue-specific conditions are determined by the venue operator and may change.
9. General
9.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
9.2 We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
9.3 If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
9.4 Questions about these Terms can be sent to info@pixeltin.com.
